White Swarms Outside

White swarms

around concrete walls

where darkness dwells

laying a sleeping spell.

Yet the girl inside

stays wakened

by the light invading

these dark places.

She asks of the Sugar Plum Queen

if she may dance outside the darken places

for her yawn has been satisfied

and her energy grows inside.

White swarms outside

but her delight is not satisfied.

The Sugar Plum Queen

does not wish

to share this delight

with young beauty

who must stay inside.
